Challenge #5 - #7.....A Lot Late.

Wow, I have certainly been slacking on my job!! Needless to say I have been busy scrapping my way through the ADSR and not paying attention to the blog....LOL. I also have been spending time with my family and most of all my DH. We took some time just for ourselves, and we had a BLAST. I'm so glad we did, we both came back tired but renewed and refreshed.

So, I'm catching up now with 3 of my layouts.....so that Kerri can come back and catch up and hopefully we can get all of our ADSR layouts up for you all. First is Challenge #5 in which we had to scrap chocolate.....and I am on a new journey not only in scrapping but in changing my body. A weight loss journey that I am winning little by little. Baby steps but I am proud of where I am going!! So here is my Challenge #5 layout....No More Chocolate....

The next layout was a roadblock and as we knew that I was taking an extended vacation near the end of the race, we decided it would be best if I did this one.....So the rules were we had to use and old picture and a new picture and the words This One's for Me as a title. We also had to use 10 positive descriptor words about ourselves and then there were also specific element requirements. My old picture was taken when I was about 3 I believe, the new picture was taken while I was at my part-time job one day for the web site to show the new computer software, yep I'm on another web site....LOL. Here is OUR Challenge #6.... This One's for Me...

The last layout for Challenge #7 we had to make a list of 50 for our Bucket List. I couldn't believe how difficult this actually was for me. I knew of a short list I have.....but a list of 50??? Wow, this was a bit tough for me.....but I did it. And I surprised myself at what things I would want to do. So I give you my Challenge #7...... My Bucket List....

Ok, so now it's Kerri's turn to come by with her next few layouts and I will be back soon I hope with more of mine. I sure hope you are enjoying all the layouts we are creating, we are certainly having a great time with the race, and it's really getting me back to what I need scrapping to be for me.....FUN!!! But, I have Kerri to Thank for that more than anything.....she has been such a ROCK....and a great friend and sister to me. Don't know what I would have done without you there to give me such great encouragement, you have been an AMAZING Blessing to me!! Until next time....
Blessings to you all!!!

Challenge #7 - Leigh's Take

Well, like Kerri said this Challenge was a pretty easy one, and now that I have seen Kerri's layout I am surprised that our layouts are somewhat similar, though they have some big differences. Like minds really do think alike....LOL!!!! They really made this challenge easy by saying that we could recolor anything in the mini-kit and also we could use anything from other kits that we wanted, just that we HAD to use the 10 items from the mini-kit in the layout at least once. Ok, so here's my take on the challenge....my layout called Swinging....

So we are more than half way through the race at this point, only 5 more challenges to get through. It will be interesting to see what is in store for us. We have certainly had to think "Out of the Box" in the challenges that have been presented till now. It's been great fun though and time has certainly flown. Until next time then....

Blessings!!!

Kerri - Challenge 7

Compared with the other challenges this one was an easy one! We get a mini kit and have to use all pieces in it for a layout!

Here is what I made with the bits and bobs, the picture was taken this weekend, its my niece Mia and my SIL Ramona
