Challenge 1 - Leigh's Layout - My Baby Steps.

First of all I have to tell you that Kerri was oh so patient with me this year as about a week before ADSR was set to start I had a major.....well I will say I was ready to give up scrapbooking for a WHILE. I have left all of my Creative Teams and given up all my activities in the scrapbooking world. It was all causing me so much stress that I was having headaches weekly, and crying at least once a week. My DH was so understanding about it all, and above all SOOOO supportive. He knew that underneath all the stress I truly loved scrapbooking and that I just had to get back to that. To the fun of it, and through all of this Kerri has been such a blessing and a friend. Much more to me which is how I came to the name of the layout I made. I lifted her layout PS I Love You which I absolutely LOVE, especially the picture!! You can see it below...

And so now I begin to take my Baby Steps back to scrapbooking.....for enjoyment, for my family, for my friends, for me and for what it is truly supposed to be about. No longer will I be burned out by trying so hard for others. And so I give you....More Than A Friend....dedicated to the friend who is helping me to discover myself in scrapbooking again, and someone who will forever be More than just my Friend...she will always be my Sister in my heart....I Love You Kerri!! Thank you

Blessings to you all!!!

Aw Leigh, what a story!
If CT's and such are consuming you, you sure made the right choice! Layouts should be first and foremost for your own enjoyment, and if you find joy in working for a CT, that's great.
But if it's giving you that much stress, then getting 'back to basics' seems like a wonderful idea. I just know you have the right friend beside you to help you, and find your way back to true scrapping.
I hope you do find your way back, your layouts are so wonderful, it would be a loss if you didn't.
How awesome to have a husband that supports it, and understands it.

Love the lift, wonderful photo of Kerri there. You even kept the color theme going!
