Kerri's Take on Challenge 4

uff, that was difficult! It was a challenge with journalling and not only that but from the soul. Well, I read the rules, re-read the rules and hoped for some hints. Later in the day they put up some tips on what to journal about. One of them was, what would you want your children to know, well, I would want them to know just how my husband and I were meant to be together, so I journalled. Then I had to find out just what sort of elements I was allowed to use, 3 of them had to be "arty" or "altered art". I looked this up on the actual site and saw that a Cupid would be considered "ephemera" which falls in the category "altered art". So here's hoping that this layout qualifies for the fourth challenge

Journalling reads:
Dear Boys,
Cupid had his work cut out for him with Mummy and Daddy. I truly believe that we were meant to be from the beginning.
At the beginning of our lives, we lived in different countries, Daddy in Germany and I was in England, BUT even then cupid was working on getting us together. The towns we lived in were twinned. Eventually I moved to Germany, and when Cupid thought we were ready, he got us in the same pub together at the same time. Daddy even recalls seeing me there (it was carnival and everyone was dressed up, but there was only one Pippi-Long-Stocking there, and that was me). I recall looking around and thinking "there are some cute looking guys here, shame they are mostly drunk" - I was designated driver and stone cold sober. So unfortunately Cupid had no luck that time.
Two years later Cupid saw to it, that I changed jobs and was working for the same company as Daddy, even though it was in two different towns. A few months into the job and my boss sent me to headquarters to meet the people important for my job. Daddy was one of those.
As soon as I laid eyes on Daddy and walked into his office, I turned a very bright shade of crimson. Luckily Daddy did not know that normally I am very pale. As I headed for the hotel that night, I knew, didn't understand, but I KNEW, Daddy was something special.
2 weeks and lots of emails later we were together. And 4 years to that day, you, Robert, were born. We got married 14 months later, when I was 16 weeks pregnant with you, Richard.

and like Leigh said, thanks for following us here and in the galleries, its fun to read all the comments!
CU soon

Gees... though challenge! Just the looking up of what it all means! But, although I know you find it hard to journal, I LOVE it. You really should use it more often, it's wonderful! And I liked reading about it too. What a lovely story to have!
Love the LO too, the colors, the b/w photo, the way you did the title... Beautiful! Well done!
